Before PM Modi's address, not only Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also targeted the Center. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had said that Bengal did not get anything from the meeting with PM Modi through video conference and had to return empty-handed. Mamta Banerjee alleged that West Bengal has not received the financial support from the Center as much as it deserves.

PM Modi said that this self-sufficient India campaign package of Rs 20 crore is about 10 percent of the country's total GDP.

States should get more rights
